SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated technician with strong mechanical aptitude, good computer skills, and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving, entrepreneurial environment.  This role will primarily be located in our Manchester, NH location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a safe work environment and work to continuously improve the safety of our workplace
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing and test equipment in accordance with SOPs
  • Assist engineers in continuously improving SOPs
  • Operate ERP system to ship/receive material
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment
  • Perform start up and/or shut down procedures on equipment
  • Provide ideas on how to improve safety, quality, production, and cost metrics
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support operations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum HS Diploma and 2– 5+ years industrial experience in a manufacturing and/or continuous improvement role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) in manufacturing and testing environments
  • Highly preferred exposure to lean manufacturing to include 5s, Kanban, continuous improvement, and TPM
  • Familiar with manufacturing best practices as they relate to safety, quality, production, and cost
  • Demonstrated high degree of fine and gross motor skills needed to perform manufacturing and testing procedures
  • Strong desire to learn new manufacturing and testing processes
  • Ability to lift 10 lb consistently throughout the day, occasionally up to 50 lb, and be able to work in a standing position for most of the day.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision with attention to detail and organized record-keeping habits
  • Good computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
